Having a team is also huge... if you're needing to take time off for health / family health issues, or it's the long overdue geta away / vacation. Your clients can still stop in and ask for help scheduling / rescheduling & we can text you the information :)

Revenue is generated after the rental fee. You keep all monies/revenue from your services & tips & your retail products sold.
Team up with other members at apPIERances for bigger events - eg wedding / proms / etc & split the revenues between all participants.

Income is generated through commission from services and tips. In addition, we offer a sliding scale associated with e-commerce retail sales.
Clients can purchase retail products in the salon and through our online store - which carries a huge variety of additional products.
Selling retail products should be a natural part of your skillset as a licensed professional. You are helping guide the client with maintaining their hair/beard/nail condition (shampoo & conditioners) & their styling goals (mousse, spray, oils, gels, pastes, etc).
A huge benefit to the online retail store - clients don't need to wait for when we are open to come and make a purchase. For you the professional, you can reach a larger audience that might not yet be an in-salon client.

We look for opportunities to be involved in our community.
We coordinate a Lititz Cut-A-Thon, where funds are raised for the beautiful Lititz Springs Park
apPIERances participates in downtown Lititz 2nd Saturdays. This is on the 2nd Saturday of each month, where businesses offer a variety of family fun activities including live music.
apPIERances is closed the 2nd Saturday of October annually to host a chocolatier in the Kiwani Lititz Chocolate Walk. This is an amazing time to market the business to the approximate 2,000 ticket holders (plus their friends & family) Additional events include being a drop-off for food drives, pet supplies & others as they present themselves.
apPIERances is closed from Jan 1-10 annually for maintenance / updates etc. This is also a wonderful time to take a few days to rest, & also develop personal goals for the year.

- Use your own towels & capes and know they're cared for they way you want, with access to the apPIERances washer & drier.
- You are welcome to make and offer your clients tea & coffee from the apPIERances beverage bar
- Utilize the staff breakroom area with all apPIERances staff & participate in the cleaning routines.
- You are welcome to use the apPIERances eye-vacuums & empty them as they fill up.
- You are welcome to have a separate cleaning company clean your workstation for you. apPIERances has a cleaning service wet mopping the entire floor & vacuuming the carpet area every 3 weeks.
- Provide recommendations for the annual maintenance / updates for apPIERances - business is closed Jan 1-10.
